How much does it cost?

Session Price Changes from the 29th June 2022

Although the club is not run to make profits we do need to ensure its long term stability and future for this reason from 29th June there will be a fee increase:

A Monday -Thursday session will cost £13-75

A Friday session will cost £17

A full week being reduced to £70

A full Holiday Club day session will cost £27

Fees are paid a month in advance and should be paid through your online account. This allows you to pay by Direct Debit/ Credit Card, Childcare vouchers or bank transfer. You can also pay using cash and cheque and this can be done by speaking to one of the club staff members who will be happy to help, and the Project Manager will credit your account in due course.

What are your opening hours?

Monday – Thursday 2:45pm – 5:45pm

Friday 12pm – 5:45pm

Holidays 8:15am – 5:45pm

Broughton After School Club finishes its child care facility at 5.45pm. While the Management Committee understands that there may be very occasional times when a delay may cause a 5-10 minute delay, late offenders will be asked to pay a late fine.

Do you have any availability?

We have two clubs:

  1. ‘Regular’ after school club

  2. Holiday club

‘Regular’ After School Club

We open up for registration of ‘regular’ after school club in the May before the next academic year in August. We usually book up quite quickly, but spaces become available throughout the year.

Your first port of call for registering your child for ‘regular’ after school club is Katie. Give Katie a call (or email) and she can give you all the information you need.

Holiday Club

Our holiday club is open to all pupils of Broughton Primary and you do not have to be a regular member to join the holiday club. Katie will open the booking system for holiday club in advance - please get in touch with Katie for more information on availability.

Please note that we will only be taking 16 children per day and even if days are popular this is unlikely to change.

How can I register my child?

All our admin is done using an external booking system called KidsClubHQ. This is where you’ll pay your monthly fees and book the holiday club.

Can you tell me more about Holiday Club?

The summer holiday booking system will be open to reserve places through your online account. You will be notify by email when the booking dates will be and

The Holiday Program will be out on the 21st May.

If you wish to cancel a summer booking without charge it has to be done 2 weeks before the start of the holidays which is the 15/6/21.

Just a reminder of no nuts in lunch boxes as we have children at the club that have serve allergic reactions

Holiday club opens its doors from 8:15am and all children should be picked up by 5:45pm

What Covid precautions are you taking?

The Club and settings used by the After School Club:

  • All settings are getting fogged every 30 days in line with council requirements

  • All areas are being cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis

  • All equipment is being kept within the cohort your child is in and only changed if it has been disinfected

  • All equipment disinfected after use.

  • A reappraised risk assessment is in place and this will be under continual review

Children

  • Children will wash hands and sanitise before entering a property

  • All children are in small cohorts that do not mix

  • All children will continue to have their temperatures taken on arrival

  • Children will be in small cohorts and where possible play mostly with their year groups

  • Children will spend most of the time outside to help infection control

  • If a child is ill in our care they will be moved quickly to the isolation area under the club and collected by a parent/carer as quickly as possible.

  • Children will stay with the same members of staff till the end of the term.

  • Personalized water bottles and no bringing things out of their bags to minimize cross contamination

Staff

  • Staff will have their temperatures taken on a daily basis

  • Staff will be tested twice a week for Covid with lateral flow tests.

  • Will only be working with one other member of Staff and observing the FACTS protocol.

  • All staff have undertaken WHO training in Covid-19 and how it is spread

  • All staff have full knowledge and have had in house training on the procedures for risk assessing, cleaning, keeping children safe and what to do if a positive case is identified.

What we have put in place for you as Parents is:

  • Flexible pick up times

  • phone texts for a quick pick up

  • masks worn by all adults

  • no entry into buildings

  • social distancing at all times

I hope this reassures you that we are not only following guidelines but have looked at every aspect of the club to ensure the safety of you and your child while in our care.
